Savoy Hotel Hosted Dinner For The EMC3 Team For Lori Reynold's Send Off

On Monday 26th November, the entire team headed to the luxurious Savoy Hotel for dinner to celebrate the end my seven-week internship with EMC3.

The Savoy Hotel is located on the river Thames and has been a British icon since 1889. The hotel features lavish accommodations and, as we experienced, exceptional dining! When we arrived, we were greeted by Laura and Alexa, who then led us through The River Restaurant and to our elegant private dining room.

The River Restaurant is known for its modern French cooking and offers a wonderful setting overlooking the river. When we sat down, we were provided with a menu full of delicious selections!

First, we enjoyed our starters, where we chose between having parsnip and apple soup, scotish smoked salmon, and beef carpaccio. It was a tough decision between the main courses of rabbit wrapped in parma ham, pan seared sea bream, and wild mushroom and saffron risotto. Lastly, we all had some tasty desserts of valrhona baked chocolate mousse, a pumpkin slice, or an artisan cheese selection.

Throughout my seven weeks interning at EMC3, I learned a huge amount and had a great experience! Dinner at the Savoy with everyone was definitely an excellent way to end my time with EMC3, and also, in London before returning home to New York!
