Roy & Yvette's Polo and Dressage Party

This week not only brought a tear or 2 to my eye but also a lump in my throat. This in essence was due to the work I saw last night one of our best,Daniel put together for 2 VVVIP Clients Horsey Party in Berkshire. Give credit where it's due I say !!!! By himself ( with the help of a well oiled team of Chefs, Marquee Constructors, Waiters, Mixologists, Commentators, Horses, Stable hands, South Americans & Soundmen taking orders & intructions) he produced one of the most superior quality, fun and professional Polo/Dressage Events & Parties we have implemented thus far. The culinary experience ( a plethora of Lamb ( His Mum's receipe- Thank you), Argentinian Beef, Spit Roast, Exotic Salads, Vegetables, Cream Tarts, profiteroles & cream cakes) was to die for, the DJ Rusty Egan got the 300 strong guests moving and the drinks were most definately flowing. Sponsored by the Hosts, Corona Beers and our good Friends at Uluka Vodka www.uluvka.com ( Thanks Colin for the warm reception) no one was left wanting. With some of the best Polo stars playing an awesome match we were enthralled. A big thank you to HRH Princess Alia bin Al Hussein for presenting the prizes and zooming off in your maginificent helicopter. So many great people from Swedes, French, Nigerians to Argentinians mingled until the early hours of this morn.
Thanks for lift home Trevor & Yasmeen x

WE LOVE POLO, WE LOVE PARTIES - BRING IT ON MUCHACHOS...... more to come that you can attend: I promise!

RIP Dr Richard Abeson

I'd like to post a farewell blog to my dear, enchanting, bonne viveur but sadly misunderstood Uncle Dr Richard Abeson who died last week. You are in a better place free of persecution and torment. Adieu fine Prince you shall always be remembered and your death shall be aveneged!!!! RIP my Liege !!!

An Ode to the misunderstood........

Remember the old days
we used to debate and play
Remember the old days
we said hey
Remember the old days
we used to sing in church
Remember the old days
we stood up and said a Bible verse
Remember the old days
we used to take the limousine hikes
Remember the old days
we walked up and down edgware road to ease in your leg the bite
Remember the old days
your friends said that's enough
Remember the old days
we used to go into the kitchen and cook
Now the Lord has taken you away
but we will see you another day
Until then my liege when Lord bring us together again
I will remember the old days
Triumphant we shall enjoy again!!!!

RIP Dr Rich xxxxxxx

Zermatt, Switzerland Ski Conference Site Visit - CONFERENCES AROUND THE WORLD!

Although the world is melting and business is not the easiest it's has been: there are pockets of positivity that the Divine One does grant us if we work hard enough. In this criteria falls one of our newest but most endearing Clients. Thanks to an introduction by an old school Friend ( Thanks Gus) we organised a small but intimate Conference at the Landmark in March. They were impressed with our diligence, professionalism and contigency forsight. I didn't realise how much until I got a Sunday text from the CEO 2 months ago asking me if I knew any good places in Switzerland to have a 25th Anniversary Ski Conference in Jan. My little time during my school years spent in Switzerland was finally bearing bounteous fruit. HURRAY - a Conference for 180 delegates was finally narrowed away from St Mortiz to Zermatt. The numbers and beauty don't lie. Privacy, company strategising and skiing were the main orders for the Conference. As they say in skiland - we lucked out :-) Not only is this great for our business development but to have such kind, wonderful, intelligent and on the ball Clients is a bonus.

Alistair and I were dispatchhed to Switzerland to meet our astute but fun Clients for a site visit in beautiful Zermatt. Isn't Switzerland gorgeous in the summer?.....chocolate, sausages, running goats, ramblers, spas., sun and kind people. The devil is in the details - so here 's to planning a professional and successful Conference in 2010!!!!
