Monday night without my Beau (chilling at esvive in ibiza) I received a pleasant call from my Friend Sacha ( Musicial genius & co-writer of many a fine tune including James Blunt's "You re beautiful") saying that a singer called Jason Mraz whom he written a couple of songs for is playing at Sheperd's Bush .Did I want to come to the gig?Does it rain in July ....BIGTIME.Did nt know what to expect.The place was packed & it was only the 1st act ... a lady called Dawn who apparently was a smash at Glastonbury . Pretty kool ...nice click & lush voice. A couple of ciders later in VIP then on he came : Awwwwwesome .A mix between Jack Johnson & Stevie Wonder with a flava flav mix . Crazy I know but what a voice .James Morrison rocked up on stage for a couple of songs as well. Jason Mraz seems to have a good following already - worth buying tickets for his gig at the Albert Hall on 23rd September .Going to be a smash.... www.jasonmraz.com - Check it out !

Went on the magic round about tour that is Madame Tussaud's yesterday...reappraise the staff with the up to date facilities there for events from Parties to Award Ceremonies . Nowhere beats UK in the sun .......saturday was lazy day spent cycling around Regent's & Hyde Park with my Niece.Got to lose the pounds to fit into my bikini for Ibiza .Oh well at least till the Barbie this eve in Alex's Garden in Maida Vale. Maaaan I ain't a bad chef , or so I ve been told !

Taste Of London

Last saturday I went to tast of London - Wow , embarassingly I have to admit ,although I have sent many a good person there ; it was my 1st time at this great event in Regent'sPark . So much good food & wine and only 4 hours to enjoy.Thanks to the Guys at Pearl Restaurant and Perroni/Locanda Loccatelli we did nt want for anything.Also can t forget the spicy Lamb from Sumosan.Well done London -smashed it again .....mmm wonder if this would work elsewhere ?

Wow what a whirlwind these last 2 wweeks have been.... Barcelona was inspirationally divine as per usual . Not a bad life having to site visit 8 hotels , 10 Restaurants, 6 Bars , 2 Nightclubs , 2 Guadi Houses - Casa Batlló & Casa Milà La Pedrera

Murder Mystery Week-end

Wow .....what a great place Malborough is . 8 of us left London on friday night in a vintage silver Bentley & a beefy range rover bound for Wiltshire.Lots of Prosecco & Cava at the mansion was had with after a quick meal at Ask pizza. What a terrific Mansion it was . The gardens were awesome as well. Our kind Host had 2 surprises for us 1) At the age of 9 he ran away with the Circus in Portugal & trained as Fire eater and juggler - so we had a fire extravaganza show (video below) after desert - bravo mon brave x Next day was a late start with muffins,chocolate & a very strong coffee as our wake up boost . Off to town we went to shop for food & wine ( a pal who works at M&S with a 25% discount card always works well - especially when all drinks were already 25 % reduced) Happy days - the best wines at 1/2 the price . After a snooze & costume change the games began. Murder at the Pyramids a la Dinner table . I was dressed as Robin Graves: the blaxpoitation head of security at the pyramids . What a laugh - I recommend it to all.Needless to say I won ! By guessing who was the murderer I received the booby prize. Linked to surprise no 2) I had the honour of lighting the splendid fireworks. Poor Horses , cows & Grand daughter of Sir John Betjeman - all were not happy to be woken at midnight ....sorry . Fun ,laughter, friends , sumptuous food , fine wine & a phat country mansion - recipe for inspiration & success x

Back in Londinium .... does nt time fly!

Seemed to have brought the sunny Stockholm weather with me ..... Busy times continue here in Londinium .Good to see the team looking fresh & hungry .When you eat what you kill those are good attributes. Briefs come flying in , holding ones stomach for results of response to briefs that last week went flying out.June will be an interesting month. Now to focus on 2 days of creating beautiful work : London ,Barcelona ,Singapore & Lagos here we come.Off to shropshire for a 1920's Murder Mystery this week-end ....apparently I m to be the chaffeur Robin Graves . I wonder what that will entail ? Hurray the De La Soul Guys should be back next week +

Chilling at the Grand in Stockholm

Ahhhhh back again . Been a while .....London, Lagos ,Paris , Torrevieja & back in Stockholm at the Grand Hotel. Did nt know it was so pretty here in the Spring/Summer . Ahh sailing on the Mälaren was soothing & the Drottningholm was fascinating .Eating great ribs & not speaking Swedish but conversing in Spanish at Casa Fagelhammer Egana was awesome!
Last week in London I was chilling in the VIP Lounge at the Forum watching my Friends De La Soul & a 11 piece Orchestra smash it . This week-end in sunny Stockholm at Hotellet . Back on the plane tonight to Londinium for another adventurous week. Watch this space .......See me as if I were in the Simpson´s attached.

Well , back in Londinium ; 2008 AD ....Year Of Clarity , Year Of The Rat , time for renwal & progression. Friday & back to world domination.Reminising the Godson , The Mother , The 2 Dads ,the Sisters , The Friends , HP Lovecraft , the Blood Diamonds , T.I.A , THE SNOW , the Love.Galavanised for the year working in a dreamworld.Portuguese Friends engaged, dinner in Notting Hill with the Mrs & the Dentists,Kanye West & Daft Punk lyricing .....Ahhhh Londinium 2008 AD ......here we come xxx

2008 Make It Your Date

Ahhh what a week-end. Started with a fine blag on Friday as I managed to get an Upgrade to a Suite and an extra night at the beautiful Clarion Hotel,Stockholm for my Mrs & I . The rooms are exquisite there and the service is most endearing.Full of Xmas cheer I went to sleep on a most luxurious bed whilst the Mrs went to visit old Friends (till 3am may I add) . To say the least , Saturday was most groggy & fragile for her whilst I was as fresh as a daisy :-) After a morning spa & a sumptuous breakfast , we watched a couple of hilarious films including Shallow Hal ....is nt Jack Black great. He is our eras John Belushi ( without the drugs ) In the eveing we went to the Piano Bar at the Grand Hotel to visit an Old Friend Mats ,one of Stockholm most accomplished Events specialist & Social Networker - he s getting married soon. Must be in the air .Congratulations Dude ....is a fine thing to do although it may put a few pounds on your waist. A few brandies & cokes later we bid our farewells & went back to the hotel for some "Swedish Cuisine" , you know I can t remember what we had but needless to say it was gooood .

An hour later we were joined by the Mrs's lil Sis , a lovely,funky and style concious Babe who had dyed her hair red with success. Being of the same Family as my Gal she too is very persuasive and had convinced her Boyfriend to do the same . Added a lot of colour to our night ......feeling ill as she did we left , the Mrs in the hotel and went to the Spy Bar on the 25th Floor. A pit stop was had at a bar with no name where we had a shot of Absinth each. That ,mes amis, was my undoing . What kind peops there are in Stockholm....everyone was so cordial at the bar and even joined us in many a tequila shot.Shame no one liked dancing though. Too kool for school I presume . Don t remember how I got home but do remember some Swedish Film Star being bundled into the backof a police car outside the Hotel at about 3 in the morning for some flout of the law or other .Good to see all are equal in the eyes of the law :-)


Sunday I was ill but thanks to Phileas Fogg, V For Vendetta , My sick Wife & a couple of gallons of water I got through the day .


NYE Monday ....Hurray the SNOW began in earnest as we shopped for presents, queued for booze then went to visit the Mrs' Dad & Brothers . Great afternoon of Buns & Glogg with fotos of our honeymoon in the Motherland - Africa. Did nt feel so good though as had caught the cough .Not to worry had to soldier on as it was New Year's Eve . We headed to the Mrs' Mum's home to spend some TLC time with the in-laws . Still felt ill but what a great vibe to see the New Year in with Loved ones and to be for once sober . Wish my side of the Family were there too. Lots of well wishers texting;Fantastic Fireworks of all shapes & sizes watched whilst we sipped pink champagne....Ahhh La Dolce Vita . 2008 shall be a good year me thinks , especially with God's Grace . Adieu 2007 ,thanks for the Beautiful Wedding & Love and here we come the New Year !!!


3 days to go and still lots to do ....hope my illness does nt get in the way . Gott nytt år x
